Is linehaul really to boring? Seems like you could listen to XM radio or audiobooks or podcasts.
Otherwise, how about yard spotter or local shuttle for local work?
Or the OTR/Regional deals that are 7 out and 3 or 4 home if you just want a better home life? -
Speaking of Sirius XM, Western Express is always advertising for drivers on the local Craigslist community. Always in the ad is that their tractors are Sirius XM equipped with DIRECTV as well. I guess another selling point.

I do nothing but audiobooks and podcasts, I'm a big fan!VIDEODROME Thanks this.

like everyone's going to say it really depends. Its really your choice if you miss being at home then local would be more suitable however if you love the open roads and being away living out of your truck and eating at truck stops then that's the way to go i guess you won't really know till you give it a go.
