I asked once before about flw ( first load of the week) but I'm not sure I understand why on your last day of your week they send you back to the same store that you went to on your day out.

Seems coincidental to me. Just the luck of the ol' optimizer I guess.
-
Saw a rumor from a female driver on the wm fb group saying Walmart is shopping for 3rd party shop people to work on our trucks.
-
You'll get more like that as vacation season starts up.
-
I saw that too. I hear advertisements constantly on Sirius XM radio looking for mechanics.

how early do u have to come in before ur gate time when slip seating.
-
Regardless of slip seating or assigned full time truck, you must allow enough time to transfer all your gear from personal vehicle to tractor, get paperwork do whatever else you deem necessary and be out gate(which means leaving Dc property) by your gate time.
kruz1980, Lardfast and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
guess what im asking is if you slip seat/extra how much time to allow before ur gate time. 1,2,3 hours before. so that there maybe no truck ready. the guys at my future dc advised me that you have to start your clock to pull up on the ready line.
-
You sure you're ready for this? This isn't a hand holding driving job. Wait until your week with a mentor for the big questions.
-
i am. i told the gtm me and you would stay in the truck. for him to save that hotel money each day
