I hate it when I am riding down the hwy and a 4 wheeler or a truck just sides up behined me and has to see how close they can get to the DOT..If and when I do see them back there I just kick off the crurise and let her slow down...I have got down to 35 mph before they moved and ya I am told I'm #1 I get on the radio with the trucks and let them know that if I still had my tow truck I would have no problem towing their truck for them but I charge buy the mile and it statrs at 75.00 a mile plus hook up....I have gone as far as to pull over, change lanes and slow down, exit the hwy.

Oh...and that overpass. It wasn't really lying in the road. But we slowed down for it anyway...######. Just like that gaurd rail in that last curve...it wasn't really about to hit the truck either. But we jammed the jake on (stage 2)....just in case it was.

Actually, it does have it's good points. And those outweigh some of the BS you have to put up with. As far as safety goes.[/quote]

that just sounds insane!! and it should be illegal in a CMV!!!!!!!

    Not me!
I'd just gouge on it and take 'er up to about 100 MPH, and THEN slow back down --- just to send a message.

When some of those company drivers passed me in the flats, goin' a whoppin' 70 MPH, while I was just strollin' along, I'd just wave Bye-Bye to 'em.
Then, when we got into the mountains, I'd easily pass them as they dropped gear after gear, strugglin' to get over the grade.

After I passed 'em in the mountains, with no real effort on my part, they'd often hail me on the CB radio and ask,
    HeY!
Didn't we pass you back there in the flats?

    To which I'd reply,
    "YuP!
    That'd be me."
    They'd then inquire,
How is it possible that you're now passin' us in these mountains?
    And I'd explain to them,
"Well, it's like this, driver ---
when y'all passed me back there in the flats,
    it's because I LET you,
and now that I'm passin' y'all in the mountains,
    it's because I WANT to."

    And they'd just say,
    "Oh, I see."
    To which I'd add,
    "YeAH,
    but not for long ------
