Maybe you can do better pulling a tanker. Seems like most new drivers quite because of low pay. People seem to leave out the details. Why not look also into car hauling I worked for a car hauler company they will train and pay you 65k-90k. Once you have like 2-3 years experience driving.

If you can make $56,000+ pulling tanker you better jump on that because most driver don't make that much money

 

There is no money in trucking.

I and 4 others started fresh out of school for Trimac (a tanker company) last September, you can get trained here but you must go into your nearest terminal and sale yourself to the terminal manager, If all you do is put a application in you will probably never get called back.

Attaching settlement for one week, now mind you I only have 7 months experience and I do not run as hard as someone who is single and no kids.

 

Anyways just wanted to post a actual settlement so as you can see actual numbers, you will not make this every week some are more some are less. Usually if it is less for me, its because I request 2 days off every 10 days

 

Also my YTD gross is 21000 it could of been better but was running teams and we were not getting any miles, its crazy but for my terminal solo is easily the way to go.

Basically left team running 4 weeks ago and started solo for trimac

Would Schneider be better than Werner? or Swift over both of those?

 

Contact progressiveGE and get hired on with Schlumberger as a temp to hire. You'll net at least $4000 a month starting out. I've been in the oilfield since 2014 and I work for one of the slower companies right now in terms of work and I gross about $7000 a month.

 

I am still wet behind the ears but if that was my 3 choices I would go big orange and of course tanker division

 

CTL is a good option
