Larry, I pass you guys all the time sitting at the washout in Prosser when I come down the hill. What's the average wait time at that place? Looks pretty bad during peak season and tanks are lined up all around the building.

3 or 4 hours the few times I've been there. They have a washer and dryer and shower there. I usually have enough time to do laundry (free).

Sorry. I must have misunderstood. Based on the context of your posts, I gathered that you became unhappy at IRT which led you to quit. Hence my statement of...in so many words saying there was no shame in that and I don't fault anyone for leaving a job they're unhappy at. I stand corrected that you were happy at IRT. Glad to hear that.

After I loaded my lemon concentrate in Visalia this morning I stopped at the Loves in CA 58 outside of Bakersfield for lunch. When I got back in my truck I already had a preplan to dead head 508 miles to our new yard in McAllen once I'm empty in Arlington. Between that and this 1,500+ I'll be sitting on 2,000 miles by Friday when I get down there with 3 days left on the period.

Bummer... reminds me of that old saying "Sometimes you're the bug, and sometimes you're the windshield".

I finished out this week at 3,440 miles. Visalia CA to Irving, TX then to McAllen and from there to LaBelle FL. I delivered my LaBelle last night about 8 hours early (drop/hook).

I used to run for Gordon Milk Transport. You are so right about Glasgow,ky. In my opinion the dairy in London KY is so much faster.

I left Florida and took a load from Orlando to Decatur, AL then one from Baton Rouge to Hereford TX in order to get home. I've been home since Friday night. It's Tuesday night now. No one has called or bothered me. I'm probably going to head back out tomorrow. I drove my pickup home from Clovis.

Yesterday I was visiting with an Indian River driver. He told me that he went to Prossor to get washed out a couple weeks ago, and IRT told him to get a T-Check to pay for the wash, as an advance. So when he got his next paycheck, he was missing $220 from it for the cost of the wash. He said IRT told him that he would get reimbursed the following week. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
