I had the chance to look at a new Landoll 855 RGN and it looked really well built. And the neck design is like nothing I've ever seen. I pull a 50 ton Fontaine with 4th flip axle now. Just curious if anybody has any experience with the Landoll RGN's?

I'm going to tag myself in this one, want to see where it goes. I just started working for a Landoll dealer and have plenty of experience with their sliding axle products, especially their 334 & 336 salvage car haulers, but no personal experience with their, or any other detach trailers. In fact I'm in the Sacramento area tonight to sign papers with a customer on a 455-50 CA legal sliding axle in the morning, then down to the Bay area to sign the papers with another customer, ending up just north of LA by Wednesday for the third slide axle trailer I've sold since coming here last month.

I've never used one. I do like them though. They look like a quality trailer. They seem a little pricey. May be worth it IDK. I would like the slide out outriggers.

So far so good. As with any change there are some struggles, being the new company has 4 locations throughout the US I had expected them to be better organized, but other than that it is good. Some days I can't believe they are paying me to shoot the breeze with towing company and hauling company owners all day! Really, I am paid to make friends, can't beat that. Plus, I get to play with brand new, state of the art tow trucks and show off their capabilities by lifting heavy items and doing mock accident recoveries in training scenerios.

Here are just a few of the toys I have driven or demoed since coming to Worldwide in California. The last one is my favorite, drove that to LA from our Vegas build facility towing the Ram 5500 carrier so I still get to use my tow operator skills as well.

Almost forgot to post the Landoll sliding axle trailers, here are two of the three to deliver this week. California legal axle placement, 50 foot over all length.

We haven't had any of the Landoll RGN trailers in stock since I started here, and I just missed attending ConEx, but I hope to see one up close soon. IMG_01261.jpg

The 835 ag trailers are real popular in the mid west. I think you can get them with a 32' well. I think that's a 48' OA length too. I think it has two foot slide outs. A lot of I thinks b/c IDK

We bought a 440a-50' back last fall. It's been a great trailer so far.

I haven't looked at the RGNs, other than pics on the web. Seems all of their products are well made though.

The company i work for just got me an 855 2 months ago. I have to say that I really like the trailer. It's very stable and forgiving when detaching on unlevel ground which is awesome. The only thing I don't like is the 1 inch flange top along the outside beam. Large steel tracked equipment is simple to secure but anything else and you have to get really creative with your securement. If they had chain pockets along the top like Load King has the trailer would be Fantastic.
