    That is good to know. That type of training is the best type in my book. With Team Training do we really learn anything? We are basically driving by ourselves while our "trainer" is sleeping.

    I would go with h o wolding. Company's been around awhile and has a good reputation.
    Avoid Knight Transportation. They are merging with Swift. Scary.
    BTW check out the thread titled Knight for a hilarious video. It's on page 2 of the thread..

    Here's some to check that hire in Florida. If website has "experience required" ignore it and apply anyway, because these all hire new cdl grads:
    Abilene Motor Express - hire all over Florida.
    Titan Transfer
    Vero Logistics
    Schuster
    Interstate Distributor - rider and 2 pets.
    Pride Transport
    Freymiller - check on pet policy; maybe it's changed. Call the company. Seems to be the best refrigerated company for new cdl grads from what the drivers post on here.

    Hiring areas sometimes change due to customer changes, so apply anyway.
