I was stuck at Troutdale last night to get my Qualcom worked on.
He didn't have a replacement black box so he redid the software to see if it would help. It has so far.

At around 0330 I was sent a pplan, which I didn't look at until I woke up this morning.
    Then I ignored it.
3 pick up locations. The first at 1100, the second at 1200 and the third at 1230. All in Portland, but there would be no way to meet those times.
It delivered to a Safeway DC in WA tomorrow morning at 0400.
Red flags, all the way. It was sent by ECT in Phoenix.

A bit later I went in to see a planner. I told him I would like something headed east to get me closer to my home time in MN next week. He said he would do what he could.
About an hour later I got a Petco load. The shipper was 6 miles away, and 2 stops in Spokane and Cour D'Alene, ID.
Ten minutes later a second pplan came in. Lewiston, ID to Joliet, IL; 1900 miles and delivering on 5/2 - my requested home time date.
From there it should be easy to get a load to the Inver Grove area, so I'll probably be home on the 3rd.
    That planner did good!

Columbia, SC and exhausted. I have 6 months left on my lease and still haven't decided if I want to keep this truck with my APU or get a new one. I guess that will depend on if they even offer to let me buy the truck or renew my contract.

Depends on which brand of truck. I've heard repeatedly that Kenworth leasing will not allow purchase of their trucks as they are worth considerably more than the buy out.

    Lewiston ID at the terminal.
I like the arrangement of bringing the Clearwater loads to the terminal for us. It saves quite a bit of time.

I was sent a message that the trailer had been moved to the terminal. A new load assignment wasn't sent, but the mac 1 worked from the terminal.

Morris IL TA. Headed to Chino CA with pipe and a promising student.

And recovering from bronchitis. Puking my guts out from gagging on congestion, while securing freightliner chassis finally convinced me to seek professional medical help.

    That would explain it's illusiveness.

Billings, MT - and I am out of route.

When I first got this load I had a totally different fuel route (the one I wanted), then the pick up went from the shipper to Swift in Lewiston and I was sent a new fuel route.
Instead of having me work my way down from I-90 it has me going up I-94 through Fargo and Minneapolis, then down to Joliet, IL. I guess it was trying to make me fuel at certain places without regard to miles and time.
    Stupid, in my opinion.

So I'm going my own way until I need fuel again, then I will call.
And besides, the new fuel route would have made me bypass one of the few places I can find my pipe tobacco out here - right here by the J in Billings. And there is a Chinese place that makes some pretty good fried rice as well.

Mileage wise going thru Fargo and Minneapolis is the shortest.
Even coming from Albany Oregon to Chicago is 70 miles shorter going thru Spokane Fargo and Minneapolis than going across 80 in Wyoming
