I read the article and did not see any comment that stated these two were illegals.

It appears that judgements are being made based on their names.

 

Well in all likely hood they are. It seems to be a common practice by drug lords if you will because if/when the attendants of the crops get caught it makes it 10 times as hard to track down who they were working for because they are not gonna cooperate with authorites because the worst thats gonna happen is they will get deported(a free vacation home) and be back in a week or two.

 

I imagine the way the country is now, if they were in fact illegals as you state, it would have been noted in the article.

 

Not necessarily, it may take a while for their illegal status to be confirmed which would not be posted at the time of the original artical but in a follow-up artical in the coming days/weeks

One year my father was complaining about weeds growing in his cornfield that was growing faster and higher than the corn. He got so mad and ripped it out of the ground. Later he found out he pulled up some kids crop of dope....lol! (the kids was actually the son of the local cop) Dad didn't know what is was, it just ticked him off that it was growing better than the corn....lol!
