I don't know where you live but in Chicago, home every day, and you are not going to make even near the wages they make.

 

carpenter, pipe fitters, plumbers, electricians, the guys I know are home daily, and make more money than you could driving a truck, especially if you new at it. Pennies for truckers.

 

All fine and dandy when you live in a major metro area. Nothing like that available in very rural areas like I live in. You either are a farmer or work for 12/hr in a factory. I hope that stupid comment wasn't directed towards me.

 

I agree there are pennies if you're starting with a mega. That's why I'm avoiding them.

Look, I started driving, you didn`t even exist yet. I made Great Muney, and still do. Im going on 43 years doing this. I can retire any time I want, but as long as there paying me GREAT MUNEY, im here for a little bit longer. Now how bout you, $300- 500 a week to live in a truck, they take more out on taxes than you make, in a week, or do you get that ever 2 week pay.
