Good Lord almighty. Some people really shouldn't be putting videos online.

I made it through 10 secs. Just couldn't take it.

 

As far as these videos, how is someone to know whether or not the guy posting the video is just video trolling?

I thought is was interesting how the first video in this thread where the guy admitted he "failed", he incorporated a fancy video intro & ending utilizing a camera drone to capture an overhead cut away of him standing in a parking lot, seriously?

Maybe instead of spending so much time producing Youtube videos and money on drones, he should have focused more on succeeding in his real business and paying his quarterly taxes?

I don't know, seems sort of like common sense to me...

I will also say this, that same guy claimed he was getting $1.80 a mile on dry van? If that's the case, a person should be able to make a decent living on that after expenses.

 

I see that Ike posted a new video on youtube where he FIRED Schneider! LOL. He quit the company driver position and wants you to subscribe to his page so you can see "What's next."

You don't get a 1099 quarterly, you get it once a year.

It's a good lesson to share with others. A lot of guys don't understand that when you don't get a W2 anymore, it's different...taxes aren't withheld, you have to pay the full cost of health insurance, no 401k. Some guys go lease a truck and spend all of the net pay, as this guy did. "Wow look at how much money I made" quickly turned into "Oh #### I can't pay my taxes".

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

 

He said he read all about the pitfalls and still did it! Some people think they are exempt from what millions of other small business folks have gone through, or that they can somehow re-invent the wheel.

 

Like the old saying goes if you don't learn from others mistakes you're bound to repeat those too and evidently he did
