There's a lot of pressure that day so I don't care too much about letting people know what to expect imo the guys we're getting have been good at least where I work we have well over 25 drivers within the last 2 years and finished #1 in safety office of the year

Wow 742 mile deadhead home. Not complaining, but there's a personal record bounce.

Wow. The furthest I've been deadheaded is 280 and I thought that was far.

Yeah, heard all week our D.C. Needed volunteers to extend because we were so busy, but they sent me to Loveland, CO. Had a bad snowstorm yesterday from Hays, KS to Loveland, then up to Scottsbluff, NE. Then they bounced me back to Mt Pleasant, but ran back into that storm. Stopped in North Platte to fuel and offered to wait for a grocery load delivering tomorrow a.m. in Omaha. They had one, but not ready until tonight. I'd rather hit the snow and 50nph gusts with a little weight, than empty. Do you guys have those traction devices (pebble droppers) on your trucks out west? I saw the Loveland trucks all had them. Pretty slick looking.

Call me old fashion but I like a good set of chains to get me through the white stuff.

I would rather have 85° and never have to see snow again.
