I've had my CDL since July 2015. Werner said they'll take me as long as it's been within three years since I got the CDL. No refresher required. A bit scary as that tells me they'll take anyone lol
Western Express or Werner?

Bad as it may sound. Call Swift, or look at a local carrier.
The little local guy might take you no\few questions asked. As long as they can insure you.
What part of the NW are you in?
@Chinatown
He usually has a suggestion for companies to look at.Rocknroller4 Thanks this. -
Appreciate the suggestions. Maybe I will just pay for the refresher. Werner have been pretty up front with me and nice recruiters who are patient but just not so sure about the company as a whole or going to California for orientation. Schneider seem to have some good dedicated positions but I live about 50 miles from the Portland terminal and they want me to park the truck there. Being without a car that might be an issue unless I just tell them to keep me OTR.

I'd pay and go to freymiller!

I drove for Weiner lousy lousy company.

Really? They seem like a not-so-bad company to at least start off with and get a year of experience in with. Plus, they do you have the dreaded driver facing cameras in them.
