Something that really tees me off

as a clean freak I can say this is the number 1 thing I hate about being a driver. I have literally watched someone get out of their truck at a rest stop in Illinois and pee on the tire of a random truck next to theirs. Disgusting

 

So what's your point?

welcome the the wide world of trucking where we don't hold our fellow truckers accountable when we see them do something wrong like piss next to their truck or dump a gallon of piss in the parking lot.

You want to hear something that is disgusting, why I think that it should be a huge fine if you dump it in the parking lot.

My driver is parked at a T/S in Georgia on a warm day, there is a slight incline going from the left of the truck to the right where he was. He was under the truck on a clean spot and was doing something with the wiring for the temp monitor on the trailer. He is lying there splicing the wires together and he said he felt something wet on his back, he turned his head and it was piss. The guy two trucks down dumped all of his piss jugs out on the ground then drove off. By the time he got up, he was soaked in it. took up the tools and threw them into the truck, grabbed his bag of dirty clothes out of the sleeper side door and went into the T/S for a shower, he said he just threw everything in the shower corner, washed several times to get the smell out of his hair and off his body and then took his dirty clothes that he was going to wash and put them on. He left all the pissed soaked clothes in the shower with a 10 dollar bill for a tip to dispose of them. He called me up and I told him just take it to a shop, I will pay for the wiring to get fixed. I also told the manager to give him an extra $100 for new clothes.

By the way, I would have told my boos ' the brakes need to be done asap' - screw the idea of waiting. How much is he really going to save?

$300 at most?

 

And for those guilty offenders who might be reading this, take the time to empty your pee containers in the grass.

Mother Nature will take care of it with no smell.

 

You do know there's a ridge on the shoe at the replace point ... You just have to look at it.

 

I'm not one to advocate pissing on the parking lot, but I'm thinking @BigTennOTR you've never served on a Navy ship. Just imagine sewage backing up all the time into your shower, or onto the floor. Or the putrid smell of sewage in the air 24/7. The parking lot piss smell would be a god send
