    Summer fuel finally worked it's way through the system?? My fuel mileage has shot up in the last 2 weeks

    I should also add that was on a fresh oil change. No Lucas added as I do add some coz of oil consumption after the first gallon burns off.

    I remember you used to run on Schauffer synthetic and your power generator set up inspired my choice.
    I got a Yamaha also ,still running great. :)

    I still do use Schaeffer. I did use the new CK-4 Delvac Extreme 10w30 syn blend last winter for one oil change just to see how it would do. That oil showed very good analysis after running for about 21,000 miles in my S60. Eliminated my concern about the new CK-4 oils. Very equal in many regards to the Schaeffer syn blend I primarily use. I do have a Schaeffer 5w40 full syn in the engine right now as I had 10 gallons of it in my storage and wanted to use it up. Next oil change, will get back into my summer routine of 15w40 syn blend.

    Yep, still using my Yamaha as well. Just darn good, reliable generators. Good that it is working well for you also.

    I usually have my CB on. Maybe squelch turned up too high to eliminate static.

    our sugar loads are 46,300#

    Yeah, it was light. I can't even scale 46k, my truck weighs 34500
