Using the Pilot App to fuel - How does it work?

Yea that's annoying. Happens usually once every time. I use the app every time though. Since I started using it for some reason I've been getting almost 3 points per gallon on my card for nearly two months now.

 

If u use the app it adds additional points to your purchase. That's about the only thing good about using it I've seen. The time you save when I use it I usually lose the next time I try to use it and it doesn't work.

 

Yep you get a extra hundred ##### points for using the app. Another hundred ##### points to reserve a shower via app.

 

I used it all the time as a company driver because it gave double points. I thought it saved a lot of time, as the app remembers everything but mileage. Essentially I could log in while waiting, then could start fueling as soon as I hit the pump. Reserving a shower was nice also, as you could see the estimated wait and check in before you even start fueling.

 

I just tryed it at Eaton oh and no time saved due to the douch hirshbach driver blocking the island exit ...busy buying up the subway to maintain his feeder steer lifestyle.
Now if would we could communicate with these morons thru the app they might be onto something .

 

Sni will cancel your contract if caught using a Bluetooth headset but now want you to order your fuel on your phone? What the.....

Eh, works about 80% of the time for me. Most of the time, if the islands are full and I'm waiting I can have it all set before I get to the pump. But sometimes I just sit there at an empty fuel island with no one in front of me for five minutes trying and then finally give up and just do it the old fashioned way...

What I really don't get is why so few people use the app to reserve showers.... I can't count the amount of times I've pulled out the app, saw 1 shower available, reserved it and followed one or more drivers with shower bags inside. I go straight to my shower while they get comfortable and wait for the next one...

 

Probably about 75% for me. There are a few locations in particular at which that I can never get it to work...NY I-84, one in PA come to mind.
