$18/hr. All straight time. Yea, for me it is. No hassle office is priceless.

If Millis Transfer is not hiring, that speaks very well of them. This is saying that Millis Transfer is experiencing little to no turnover and does not need any new applicants.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Well I'm currently in re hire orientation with them, and there are 2 people in orientation in Trenton that I know of. Where are you located? Have you tried calling them? Im at our main terminal and met most of the higher ups on Monday, and nothing has been said about a hiring freeze.

$18 X 65 hours a week= $1170 a week.... The numbers you kicked earlier are what you actually take home off that; but my question wasn't if that was your gross or net: it was if that was "good money" for home daily guys?

It's the same as I made doing concrete as a teamster, and that paid the half time as well.

I think other companies, non unuion, are in the low to mid 20s. I know two of them are around $24, but there is absolutely no more than 40 hours a week, and if they do give it to you, they cut you the next week.

ABF and other teamster shops are more, mid to high 20s, and OT, but can't get in their.

Fed Ex is $28 for local, and OT, but can't get in there either.

And I take back what I said about hassle free office cause I just got this shoved up my ### --I

Not a peep of warning from dispatch, and they knew, cause the guard was going "You know that load is AFU. You have your lumpers with you?"

    I'm going "Oh?"

So I've been sitting here since 0530. Lumpers showed up at 0600.

The other nice thing is they tell me my appointment isn't until 1330.

    And it's getting hot. LOL
