Evenson Trucking

OK...here is anothe post from an Evenson driver....Lady...YOU ARE FULL OF CRAP!!!! First off if you have a problem with a company that is fine but you have NO right to be posting stuff and slamming people about their personal life in a public forum. Why don't we talk about you for a change....you are a slob. your truck was ALWAYS filthy. And if i remember correctly....BOB (the owner) let you have your yippie little mutt in the truck (NO CLEANING OR SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED). Did you pay to have all the dog hair removed from the truck when you left?? NO!! instead BOB payed out of HIS own pocket to clean that truck and NEVER charged you for it. As for AL.....Until you have done his job and walked a mile in his shoes dont even pretend like you know what being a safety director is like. Let's cover a few points you made....$.30/cpm??? You knew that when you hired on.....if not then SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT ASKING!!! as far as the loads go.....Evenson is a 100% NO TOUCH FREIGHT CARRIER!!!! i worked there for 2 years and NEVER touched any freight. The risk of you getting hurt and making a workers comp claim was too high (FYI yes they DO have workers comp!!!!) as far as the trucks go...you will be VERY hard pressed to find BETTER equipment out here on the road. Unfortunately it breaks down (just like you do). his trucks are governed to conserve fuel, yes he has dropped his detention pay and layover pay....but MOST companies dont even offer these at all anymore due to the economy. Also about the having to run on your own money??? COMPLETE AND UTTER BS!!! if you had PLANNED AHEAD and had them put it on your fuel card there was NO charge for a cash advance and also I never had a limit on what they would allow you to pull. If they wouldn't put money on your card i must ask.....WHY? what reason did you give them to not trust you. As far as Bob goes...he is a fair man. When i told him i needed more miles and more money he flat out told me that wasnt possible with all the new laws. If i needed to make that kind of money i should seek employment elsewhere....WHY?? BECAUSE HE IS HONEST!!! so i did i gave notice and left. BTW..... I like John am not afraid to say...I'm Isaac. Funny how you SLAM a company but won't even sign your name to it!!! that leads me to believe it is all lies and rumors and BS!! if you are big enough to assault Bob and his company on a website for all to see.....by all means please be BIG enough to tell us who you are. I would say you are afraid to do so because what you are saying is SLANDEROUS and NOT TRUE and you know if you put your name to it Bob would sue you for libel. ANd one more question and food for thought.....IF EVENSON IS SO TERRIBLE.......WHY IN GOD"S NAME DID YOU STAY WITH THEM 3 YEARS. I agree with John...you have a bad taste in your mouth for whatever reason but that gives you NO right to slander a decent company. and as for the never getting home......PLEASE FIND ME A REEFER COMPANY THAT PAYS WHAT BOB DOES AND HAS HIS QUALITY EQUIOMENT AND CAN GET YOU HOME TO AMARILLO MORE THAN ONCE A MONTH??? you can't. Trust me.....Ive looked.....most are at least 30 days out. So why don't you take your whiney little butt to a company that is so big your lazy lying butt won't be caught......

 

I was leased to evenson for 3.5 years. Al tried to get you medical attention but you refused. As for the tree loads , with one wing out of operation, no one made you unload those tree loads from East Texas, You could have called Al or Bob and they would have made Robert bailey back off. They also allowed you to have that monstrous dog in the truck.
Evenson is as good an employer as anyone. Bob was very kind to you , I would have sent you down the road.

 

I know a couple of O/O leased to Evenson. They have no complaints. They make good money and Evenson treats them right. They will even help with truck repairs if you're short on funds. I think most of the good companies are gone but from what I've been told, Evenson is one of the few good companies still around. I've worked for so many worthless companies and a couple O/O that weren't any better. I hate to see a good company getting slammed because of some pissed off driver. If I ever buy another truck, I'll give Evenson a shout. Just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.

 

Thanks for your review! I had seen one of their trucks and was curious about them! Drivers posting their experiences with companies really helps you know who to be weary of!
