It very well could be tires because they said the pay could be as high as 60K/year to start and no less than 54K. I recall seeing something about hauling for the "automotive industry" but can't recall much more. I'll report back when I have more information.

Local tires deliveries
They offer a position in my area that is 230/night, delivering parts to auto dealerships. Starts at 700pm and normally runs to 500am according the ads. Half a dozen different temp agencies post the same job though, which makes me wonder how long the shift actually is. -

I saw on the one Exel Logistics thread on here that the guy usually worked about a 10 hour shift. So it seems about right. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Well the interview went well and they offered a conditional offer assuming my previous employers check out which isn't a problem. It's actually an account for GM that runs nights delivering automotive parts. Any of you guys know much about that? Starting pay is 56K/year
