That speedco is a joke...they're the laziest bunch of bums I've ever seen.
-
Sideling Hill service area on the PA Pike.

Bet you the one in Atlanta could beat them for laziest bum award. Actually sent Speedco a email to voice my displeasure and I'm not the kind of person who ever takes the time to do things like that. However the one in Wytheville, Va gets 5 out 5 stars. Just like everything else it always seems to come down to location. Shouldn't be that way but sadly it is. The one in Knoxville is top notch as well.AM14 Thanks this.

Well when i went to the dallas location..not even paccar truckcare could get a hold of them...when i went inside they were sitting on the counter talking about each others baby daddies....it took 3.5 hrs to do a simple pm....inexcusable

I use Speedco for my tires and PM's. I have a simple truck and they allow me to watch them. I like them better than TA or Petro because they don't try to upsell and find problems that don't exist. The problem is they are not created equal, some are just horrible lol. I swear I like the service they offer but they really need to do something about the "troubled shops". Even thinking about starting a Speedco thread so we can weed out the good from the bad. Won't be using the Dallas location, and my advice is to stay away for Atlanta as well. SMH.AM14 and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Yeah I used Speedco quite a bit and for the most part haven't had any issues either...

Hotel tonight. The truck is over at the intermodal shop finally getting a PM 5 weeks late.
It's not hard for me to find things about Schneider to complain about but I will say that they've never put me up in some dirty sleezebag motel like I hear alot of other companies doing. Its a handicap room too. I could run laps in the bathroom, it's so big. Well, time to go show off my trucker bod at the pool.rickybobby, Opus and 91B20H8 Thank this. -
That's actually a real good idea. I know there's the truck stop forum here but haven't seen a specific good and bad shop thread. Broken down by region maybe. I'm sure it'd save you O/O's alot of headaches and money.sealevel and drvrtech77 Thank this.

At a customer in Oakhurst NJ. A little tiny store without a dock that allowed me to park overnight. Unload in the morning... apparently they are planning on using.. not sure what. 45k of metal on the trailer and the manager said "we've got a lot of manpower here, it shouldn't take long"
There's no dock. At all. I don't have a liftgate... I said good luck and I'm looking forward to watching y'all do it.
Great news is that in the same parking lot there's an awesome little bar that's got $3 drafts and all you can eat wings till they close in two hours.
And I went to the beach. Bringing my bike with me is paying off!
SingingWolf, AM14, milehunter43 and 2 others Thank this.
