Can anyone give me a straight on the empty weight of the western star5700xe?

Trucknews sez, a new 5700XE with Detroit power and a 72" sleeper weighed in at 17,5000lbs. List price, $149,900. Good heavens!!

17500 with a 72" sleeper? My daycab weighs almost that!!

I was told the truck weighed 18500 without fuel

I thought that was bit light too. I got that from "TruckNews" and it was a 2014, I think, but that's what it said. http://www.trucknews.com/test-drive/driving-new-western-star-5700xe/

The truck im looking at is a 2016 5790xe with a 82 in sleeper.I was told it weighs 18381
