    OK thanks for the info from all ....is there a mod that can delete this post? or close it after being called a jacka$$ I was done with any advise or anything else from anyone to be honest .

    Sorry. I'm failing to see what being female has to fo with this. You chose to drive a truck. This is how it is. If you're being unsafe, they're going to let you know. Especially around Chicago.

    because I had to be in my feeling to even ask for answers ,being emotional too emotional when I should have just kept it to myself.... female traits ,I'm sure there's females who are not scary like me

    In this business, asking questions is how you learn and grow. I've been at it for six years and still ask questions. You're far from scary. I just don't think that being a woman has any bearing on the situation. If a guy posted this, he would get the same response.

    And you're in the middle lane to run away from merging traffic. Just for safety. Don't forget to turn on your 4-ways as soon as you roll forward and turn them off when you park. They are a magic force field generator for safety.

    Going too slow is just as dangerous as going too fast. Perhaps you should reevaluate your career choice if you feel so unsafe and uncomfortable. If you think it's bad now, wait until you're driving through Wyoming, or a Colorado mountain pass in the winter. The pucker factor tends to rise then.
