If you drive 45 MPH anywhere out west on some of those 2 lane interstate highways it is not a matter of if but of when your involved in a major accident. Hell even 55 is too dang slow. In fact most carriers have had to raise their governed speed up from 55. Its just how it is. This is a problem that will resolve itself, trust me on that!

Op.... 2 things are eventually gonna happen if you keep driving 45 on the interstate. 1- you gonna get a tix for impeding traffic and 2- someone is going to plow you from behind. If you that scared get on a side street.

how am I confusing you? I didnt understand why are truckers getting mad because I dont drive 70mph I'm am afraid of the wind a little when I drive that is why I drive slow to be safe and not to roll over or out of lane or jackknife .I thought I was being safe by driving slow so I'm like why are drivers blowing because I'm trying to be safe and not super trucker....a few ppl was nice enough to tell me that that is not really a safe speed to go an the reasons why without insulting me.I think I didnt understand because I dont blow at other truckers so I dont know if its road rage from maybe trying to get they load on time...idk nvm tho

one thing to keep in mind, this whole thing can be scary when you first start. so, your afraid to go fast in the wind, start by increasing your speed up to 60mph. do that for a while, as the jitters ease off and you get more comfortable, increase your speed a little more. your gonna have to if you plan to work out here. Now, im not trying to tell you to be unsafe, but the fact is, right now your like a big tree branch sticking up in a flooded stream, you are causeing everything to dam up behind you. And frankly, its kind of scary running up on a truck going that slow when traffic is moving so fast. One more thing, you can't be so sensitive, you need to harden up a bit behind the wheel its kind of a survival tool. I think its good to see people come in to this trade and you did the right thing by asking. good luck and welcome

From what I've seen written on bathroom walls lately a whole lot of those truck drivers are blowing truck drivers. Don't let them get to you, they're just jealous. Truck on driver!

Do you know what really pisses everyone off? Someone assuming that creeping on the interstate is "being safe."

Want to be safe? STAY OFF THE INTERSTATE. You are a danger to everyone. The same person that assumes that going 40 mph on the interstate is safe is the same person that stops in the right lane to allow oncoming traffic on. Yo never learned how to drive a car correctly, and someone gave you a CDL.
