    DR V ur my new buddy because you know FL trucking and thats one thing my pops cant help me with is where and who to go to when the time comes and these points come off my License.Im going to go to school at CFCC it start nov 1st but before I do that I need to take that written to get my learning permit correct?

    XD45 - you'll need your permit before they let you take a truck out for a road trip. I'd be willing to bet, though, that the first part of the class will be helping you get your permit Talk to the school and see what they recommend. If having your permit in advance makes things move faster, that might be the way to go

    yeah on the College web site they said you MUST obtain learners permit before first day of class along with physical drug test and 2 forms of ID and payment of course or finacial aid FAFSA info

    To get your permit you'll have to pass the Basic CDL, air brakes, and combination vehicle tests. I paid for an online study guide and passed with no problem. Once you pass the road test, you don't have to retake these tests.
