I have an older Cobra 148GTL. It's been laying around my house for a few years now. So, the story goes "it was working great until the truck broke down and got salvaged". Anyone interested?

Side or front mic?
If front mic, NightWatch?
If it's a side mic or a NightWatch with the illumination working I'd be interested. -
Yeah, need more info. Great older radios.

Ok, so the radio has a 5 pin mic input on the left side of the radio, I have the Mic as well.
On the face of the radio: the top, from left to right:
A green to red decibal indicator / NB-ANL, ANL, OFF switch / CB, LOW switch / BRT, DIM switch / Rx, TX light / a digital screen I presume to be the channel indicator
Dials on the face of the radio: the bottom, from left to right:
Dynamike / Vol, Sq / RD gain, Swr cal / LSB, AM, USB / VOICE LOCK / CHANNEL
BACK of radio from left to right.
Date of manufactur: DEC. 89 / FCC I.d: bb03k2 148GTL / ANT. / PA.SP. / EXT.SP. / 3 pin POWER IN -
Also, I just found the power cable and some other attachments.....
Plugged it in to coverage lighter and the red channel indicator loght goes from 1-40. The RX light stays green and turns res when the Mic is pressed. The decimal light is white and a orange needle move from 1db - 30db when Mic is pressed.
Other attachments include a mounting bracket, a radio stand with a speaker inside, and a ANT. Base/cable -
I would work on getting an antenna, get the radio hooked up right - don't key the mic up any more without the antenna - and then have the radio checked, properly tuned and installed.
I like those years, I think they are better than much of the crap we have today. -
I agree Dec 89 sounds like a keeper or a good buy for someone.
