    Rates on the international loads have fallen so much, some of the domestic lanes are paying better...

    You and 4NoReason keep saying domestic stuff is easier, HOW?... getting an empty out of CSX (59th or Bedford) is a pain.....the chassis are just as crappy (except for the new Schneider's, but they pay less than CSX for the privilege and they get two runs for the price of one).......

    As far as I can see the only benefit is not having to go to LPC.....

    Holy tons of stuff. Ok. So to respond to @RERM @JJKid @HalpinUout . I was company with benefits. It is 1099. Thats why i went o/o tbh. 53s are easier due to no lifts. But pay isnt bad tbh. I been doing 20/40 lately with 53. 53s are paying good. As for meeting i been told they had it with o/o. But i mean why should we be forced dispatch. Which is 1 topic at meeting i beleive. Also, a person like me who did 740 miles rouns trip on that friday for the cross towns who ended around 17 hrs was not gonna do cross town. And tbh. If they cant handle the work load now. Well things will be very very very interesting dec 17 2018 i tell ya. Its like they ignoring the fact its going to affect us. If im not home daily and forced dispatch with elogs. Its really not worth the rails. I like kiswani. I make money , home daily, weekends off. But if i ever am forced to run over my hours with elogs i will refuse. Thats oos on my record. Im very eager for this meeting. And these tolls are killing me. I spent 348$ last week. Wisconsin killing me.

    As for o/o and comp driver. I think this will be first and last truck i buy. Im aiming for ltl. Its a comp driver market. Will see what happens with elogs

    it's not... most days are easy. plus, i go to track side. oh and i know someone there.. so he usually has a good empty ready for me ... i guess that's why, lol.
    i havent been told to run over my hours or forced in my 6 years here.. and i dont think the meeting is about that either. it's about the consistent complaining and crying from owner operators which of course is bound to happen when you have about 50 of them... it's also sad to say but its pretty much my ethnicity that is causing this ruckus... why do you think bear cartage throw out all the muslim owner operators.... they had about 70.. now they're down to 5.. lol.

    locke transport - had 40 owner ops(not relevant to ethnicity) ... now have 0 .. many more intermodal companies have down graded their owner operator size due to this. i think it's a owner operator issue in general...
