if that's the one in florida (somewhere's near Wildwood...??), been there, but it was a different name back then...........i can't remember the name, but the number of billboards along the side of the highway was in the dozens, or so it seemed. and the pretty girls they "advertised" as the "entertainment"............

I like Sapp's in Denver, sure. That'd probably be in my top-10. The lot is a little small, but so is the lot at the SB in Salt Lake.

Another cool truck stop is in extreme eastern NM on I-10, at least I THINK it's in NM. It may be in Texas...don't remember. It's near Anthony, the border town. It's the stop with the exercise equipment and jacuzzi inside. Nice place.

Some TAs are really crappy. They are all moldy-oldy and stuff. And some of the Phillips 66 will knock you over when you go into the bathroom. Smells like million day old urine. I like Pilot. Not because they rape you on everything, but because they are clean. But I am getting tired of all the stupid truck stops trying to charge for everything. I personally think wireless internet should be free. I set my house up with a chronic wireless router for like $120 Really good routers are like $250. And cable internet is $45/month. This is why I refuse to pay any truck stop to use the internet. The connections are always unsecure, and they are usually kinda slow.

im rather partial to the Petro's of Joplin and Oak Grove,Missouri. i usually steer clear of T/A's unless absolutely necessary. father-n-law says they used to be the cat's ### back in the day but for all i can tell they're mostly run down crap holes.

Worst: Right now I would say the Pilot and the Petro in Bordertown, NJ exit 7 off of the NJTP. The Petro charges you to park there, raises hell about idling while providing no Idle-Aire, and has a parking lot that looks like it was hit by a meteor shower. The Pilot has free parking, but is set up in such a way that you have to block traffic to the fuel aisles while you maneuver into a spot never meant for truck parking.

Best: I don't really have a favorite, but I do like the TA off of I75 in Cartersville, Ga. Also on my list is the Liberty Truck Stop at exit 170 off of I77 in West Virgina (This one is great if you like the mom and pop's style).

I hate most Love's. 24 hours after fueling you lose your shower, the parking lots usually hold 15 trucks. They want your money not you.

The stop on OBT and the Fl Turnpike in Orlando is horrible. Another meteor shower case that you have to pay for. I drove in dodged potholes and left. Was told I had to pay. I just laughed and drove out.

I do like the Petro in Weatherford, Tx. Big lot, clean, idle aire. I know a lot of TA's are old and dingy but usually have more parking.
