I worked for them back in the 80's. I know a few drivers that are working for them now and they like them. But they do have DRIVER FACING CAMERAS, (which counts me out), but my amigo's like it there.

 

Why does everyone want to do lease purchase so bad ? Buy your own truck and go from there, and if you can't afford it or have debt then you should stay as a company driver until you can.
9 out of 10 times company drivers make same or as much as the so called lease purchase business people

Anyways just my 2 and a half pennies.

 

ACT is a decent company. I left a little over a year ago because of miles. My original dispatcher left and my miles were cut down to an average of 1600 per week. That why I left, and I had been there for 2yrs. I tried to hold out for 6months hoping it would get better. I know that are expanding their facilities in hopes of appealing to more drivers. Personally I would NOT go back.

 

So how is it?

 

I drove as an l/p driver at ACT for a couple years and loved it there. Best company I've worked for to date. I made great money and had a great truck
