    Anyone know what a 42 wilson hopper might be worth? Found a 1997 truck and hopper bottom. Guy is selling and wants $28,000. for both. And I have no use for the trailer. Don't know what year the trailer is. But it looks clean.

    look that trailer up on Truckpaper.com . You are sure to find comparable trailers for pricing and the truck as well.

    I'm by no means am an expert but it looks older then a 1997, maybe a late 70's to early 80's, I could be wrong though!

    See if you can't get the exact dimensions of it from the seller. Looks to be a low side. Big difference in what you can haul with a 42'x102"x78" vs a 42'x96"x66"

    It's not a bad looking combo.
    Depending on how it's spec'd and the overall condition it may be worth it.

    Let me know what you find out. I'll be on the side....

    without seeing it in person i would say 7-8k looks to be a low side, old guessing spring ride, probably needs work could be worth less than my estimate, could be more if everything is in tip top shape. i wouldn't buy that trailer for commercial hauling, if you are a farmer it may be fine for you.
