Has Ethernet, you can plug it up to your wireless router and watch it on your phone, or connect it to the internet and do the same when you have the free dyndns setup. Although AT&T network makes it impossible to connect to your trucks hotspot through the internet without paying for a static ip .
Has a 1Tb hdd and stores about 20 days of 24-7 recording.
I put a big wifi antenna on the outside of the truck to increase range.
Notice it's basically a home or small business setup and not a mobile system. Lol
I just used metal wire to wrap the plastic mirror arm or cab extenders and then 2x hose clamps to hold the camera to the metal wire (heavy duty steel twist ties with rubber coatings actually). The system happens to use 12volt dc wall plugs so I just cut the cord off and used a cig lighter adapter.Last edited: May 9, 2017

Thinking about upgrading to the 4k cameras.
Then maybe I can read those text messages on their phone from 20 feet away. Lol
4k security cameras is pretty insane though. My laptop is only 1080p, I'd have to pay a lot for a laptop with a screen good enough to even watch the video at full resolution.

Yep and I bet if a cop had something stolen he would be all over that till the thief is caught.

The tarps are gone. He got away. I wouldn't go to the pawn shops. They have their own cameras and their side of the story. Simplify things.
I posted a few weeks ago about how 2 guys carjacked a woman at the Petro in Atlanta. They stole her car and she tried to stop them, and they ran over her with her own car. I walked in, and noticed that police and the woman reviewing the security tapes. All of a sudden, one of the drivers being nosy like me points in the car parkinglot and says, "there they are right there!" The guys came back. They jacked a woman and came right back to the spot. Unbelievable, right?\
This perp is a regular at that truck stop. He's a regular in the area. He does this every single day. He cant even remember whose truck he stole from. I will guarantee you that he came back. In fact, I seriously doubt he went 4 blocks away after the theft.
He has a place where he sits and watches. He sits there all day and night. You know what the car looks like. You know what he looks like. You know the best place to catch him to give him a whole new religion without anyone else seeing.
No eyewitnesses. No motive. No evidence. No one cares. And the Po-Po know him and knows what he does and also know that it's only a matter of time when he steals from the wrong person and they are going to look the other way.
"How do you know they will look the other way, Six?"
Because he steals every day. They see him every day. They know him by name. And they look the other way. When you call the police about the theft, they make a report and close the case. When this guy gets his, they're going to do the exact same thing.rolls canardly, sawmill, LoudOne and 4 others Thank this. -
