Paying cash is always the best way. The only trouble people get into tax wise is by ignoring it and not sending in taxes as required. I pay quarterly and never have an issue, some years I still owe a grand or two at tax time, other years I get a refund.

No, not really. It was something, as a company driver for 15 years prior, I had no business in doing. But I figured, how hard could it be? Well, I was in for rude awakening, just as the OP will be. I found out, the hard way, as usual, I knew everything there was to know about the truck itself, as far as a businessman, I didn't have a clue, and will never do that again.

Hell with a brand new truck.
Saving 130-160K in 5 years off of a driver paychecks is quite a feat. Takes a character to accomplish that. Never possible for me.
This is what I have to salute for.

So what you are saying is that you have a five year plan to buy your own truck? Maybe you can take some money from your brokerage to help speed up the process. Seeing that your uncle has 300 trucks maybe he could hook you up with a nice newly used truck for a better deal than a dealer. I got an idea, while you are saving money from attending the steering wheel of someone else's truck, and running your brokerage and dispatching loads from the Love's parking lot, you could ask your 300 truck uncle to spot you some cash to help fill the gap?
