I went to orientation in Hutchins Tx. 3 days. Hotel was decent, 3 meals a day provided. Training was 6 weeks. This was 2012. Drove for em for a year and they kept us busy, coast to coast, some short runs.
Where you going for orientation? If you go to Chattanooga, the hotel there is owned by the company and is not that great. On a positive note there is a Waffle House right across the street at both those terminals. mmm waffle house lolLast edited: May 3, 2017

Covenant is alright. They have good variety of different customers and pay is decent. Try and get with a dedicated or reefer division. Otr at covenant is alright but too much sitting.
They also have a $1000 a week minimum program which comes out to little over $800 a week take home. Not too bad for those moments when you have to sit...which will happen often when they send you to a deadzone.
I will say this...they have awesome lanes, and good variety of freight. A lot of drop and hook, reefer loads, and theyre always acquiring new accounts and customersjeff18, SavageSam and Bama Roadrunner Thank this.
