Not if you HMU (or hit THEM up, I should say...) via Swift. Never been there/done that; just what I hear, and actually know. 5 to 6months via Swift....is an open door if there are routes, and/or DC's. May take you a min or 2 to move to their elite... but the Swifties on the DC's for WM seem to do preeeeeety dang good.....

Whew. You take me back home.
I have no desire to wrestle with DC traffic nor do I want to be a painted cross on a rock at the bottom of Luke Maryland.
They have alot of cleaning house to do. I worry about that.

Here in the south, it's yes sir and yes ma'am. In MD it brings out the aggressive mean old sob I am. Hey you non driving *&^%$ move that ironing board you skirt holding moldy wallet man!

Amen to this private carriers are the way to go on pay. But for companies paying over 75k it can become a pain at times. If someone breaks a nail while getting out of there truck. The other drivers will get a pep talk onn safety!

Im not going to elevate walmart drivers to king of the road just yet. I'll put some more sauce, charcoal and let em season a bit more. It will be a while before they become drivers that can right fully be lusted after by good quality companies.

Eventually, in the not too distant future, they''ll get rid of that private fleet. Walmart is already looking for ways to cut costs more due to online shopping, Alibaba, Amazon, Ebay, etc. and getting rid of that private fleet will cut costs a bunch.
