Is there a "Golden Rule" for backing? Something that will stick in my head? My problem is that I have to think about it and without that one guiding hint, it keeps me from applying instinct. I can come up with good reasons to turn either way and I usually make the wrong choice. I only have one more week to get this dialed in. Any help would be most welcome!

My instructor at school told me for backing up.....steer to the right to find your trailer(see it in your mirror) and turn left to lose your trailer(not see it in your mirror). Right to find...left to lose. It worked for me anyways.:biggrin_25525:
