I'm looking to get one or the other for tolls in Texas and Oklahoma.. Seems the tx tag is a easier process by snooping online for information. Does anyone have one or the other and could give me a idea of the discount for having it? Is it worth the hassle getting or Should I keep paying cash or letting em bill me? Thanks
Tx tag or pike pass?

Tx toll tag is pretty basic, saves you about 25% compared to pay by mail. You just keep it preloaded with cash.
Pike Pass is easy to get also, also works in Kansas now which is nice. -

The company I'm with uses pike pass as well as ez pass. Our pike pass works in north TX,( metroplex area), as well as OK and KS.

Prepass plus doesn't work on all tx. Toll roads.

Ok thanks guys, anyone know what the rate is on Indian nation and will rogers with the tag? Thanks

In my experience prepass plus does all TxTag routes. I do not know what roads you're running. But everything I have ever used is covered by it.
Unless you count border toll bridges ... But, who would? -
Pre pass plus doesn't work on toll roads around houston just in north texas...plus some toll roads in dfw area don't need cause they do tag pic and mail bill

I was on toll road in Kansas a couple weeks back. I think they require pike pass or Kansas,,,Something?

Not sure why you would even run texas toll roads, way to easy to get around, however I did the austin to san antonio toll road in my personal truck coming from dallas on home time, last week... dude.. 85 mph speed limit, no traffic no anything. Just flying. I only took it to check it out, but I promise anytime I'm loaded for Laredo, gonna hit Austin between 6 am and 8pm I'm on that mutha,, takes you right to i10 from round rock area. Balls out. But get pike pass to answer your question. Or pre pass elite is what I have covers everything. All toll states are on now. Though not all roads, TX for instance.
