Because holding a flashlight requires 1 hand that should be doing work.
I have a flashlight also, and its excessively large.Bakerman Thanks this. -
Gah, need to haul a pup just to carry the thing. Have fun.Ruthless Thanks this.

I just used off road lights on mine.
-
Only problem is that with most tarped loads the lights are pointed directly at the front of the load so the entire area to both sides is in the shadow. Yea I do have lights on mine to, thinking about sticking some light bars on the back edges of the cab and then connecting it up so that the reverse light also turns on the rack lights. That little reverse light they install on these trucks in the factory is pretty useless anyways.

This is similar to what i have. Only have a welded steel hanger rack for chains and binders so lower utility lights on the cab work somewhat as well. Dont see the need for all the extra light. Its blinding when working on the back of the load.
Bought a usb rechargeable mag light style flashlight. Extra hand is always free when you pinch the light with your head and shoulder. Ive been considering the headband style but why waste the money when what i have works. -
The blinding is why I went with these over the LED lights. I can't stand the bright white light.

Dont look into the light?

Saw a rechargeable LED work light today. Like the little yellow corded ones everyone has that sit on the floor. 10 and 15 watt maybe more. Also has the style that's on a tripod.
10 watt was $130....I walked away because that's too tempting.johndeere4020 Thanks this. -
Brilliant..............magoo68, cnsper, G13Tomcat and 1 other person Thank this.
