My coworker heading for Texas. 140' long, 16' wide, 21' high. 253,000lbs. They needed permission and permits from 6 states, 9 municipalities, 16 counties, 45 ultility companies. 2 bucket trucks and 3 pilot cars the whole way.

Sounds like a bit of an undertaking! Any idea's on the calendar days... or hours... involved in setting all of that up? Seems like it would be a nightmare!

2 months in planning and route surveys

That was easy then Nate. Buddy had one that took 6 months. Then a road const.project last minute threw the last 30 miles out the door. Sat 1 week over that.

Throw the darn thing on a stepdeck, $3 a mile all in!

I think I know a company from CA that will move it for less.

Funny thing is I saw 2 of their trks while sitting in Battle Creek. One Sat running a ld way over 10 w for legal Saturday running in Mi.

I think they've done the route so often it's a peice of cake now. This one had the same problem with construction. Delayed 9 days because of construction in Texas.
