Its called a 3 day pass. Just google "carb 3 day pass" fill it out and you will be good in cali. You can only use it once per year per fleet not per truck though.

 

I would drive right in there with my truck without hesitation, the way I understand it there are still a LOT of non compliant trucks running the road.

 

Not even a fleet of one truck? Oh wait, fleet = 2 trucks. Fine Get a rusted tractor in some farm field somewhere, and pay a farmer 1 dollar to lease the #### thing for the week. Presto you are now a 2 truck fleet. If Cali is too stupid and demands proof photo or whatever, scrape off the rust and start spray painting your MC DOT on there with water soluable paint.

They want two or more trucks to be a fleet. They did not say it has to be drivable.

Oh wait. Maybe Heavy's "Rent-a-fleet" will be a bright future....

 

Maybe I should clarify. You can only use the 3 day pass once per year.

 

Please Google ARB form 149, it is a three day pass.

 

Also, if someone tells you that it cant be done, do your own research. Please don't listen to a person who is so wrong so often that no one believes their "experience".
