$2500 in payments a month Is why your profits are evaporating.
$500 for accounting each month also seems high.

 

Remarkably high considering hairder99 stated somewhere on here that he was (is?) an accountant before now trying his hand in the trucking world................

I pay my accountant roughly $2000 for the year - includes all monthly accounting, he files my HST returns, does my corporate tax at the end of the year, makes my T4, does my meals deductions...keeps it all legit with the government and will have my back in the event of an audit. Talks to government on my behalf for any discrepancies. Well worth the money in my book. $2k Cdn.

 

That's more like it. That is what I pay for the corporate tax year end/filing and T4 preparation and meal deductions. $500.
