    yep yep... :biggrin_25525:

and another thing... about how gless is... we got a "nasty note" in our pay-days from the owners. or thats what it looked like at first...

looked like the typical form letter... money's tight, you need to work harder ect...

it wasn't that at all... yes, I actually read it... lol

Paraphrasing: The economy is screwed... but we aren't !!! watch the expenses and take care of business and we are doing just fine... no lay-offs, no pay-cuts, no problems, you work hard and we appreciate you... keep up the good work.

felt good actually to get that little vote of confidense and pat on the back.

    SEXY RED CHEMSUIT ???

and here I thought it was the guy in the suit that made the difference??? lol

oh well... as long as they're following me like puppy-dogs, what do I care why??? lol:yes2557:

I finally got to attend a gless safety meeting...

I missed the last one because I was out somewhere??? (driving) was told they are usually at a local area restaurant and are as much a chance to socialize as safety meeting.

Due to scheduling issues this one was 8a.m. in the morning (just prior to a run for me) and was held in the hydrite break room.

    about 14? attended 2 abstaining.

coffee, oj, bananas, donuts galore, and something else??? (never made it that far down the table).

    Company business:

We are now getting paid $20 instead of $15. (that's good, I thought we just showed up for free)

    safety:

wear your suit, watch the logs, brake early, watch for deer, watch for snow...

we're doing a good job, business is real good, don't forget to NOT wreck the truck.

if you do... don't forget to mention it to somebody... accidents happen... but the boss getting called out of the blue by the hittee a week after the fact will cost you your job, more or less.

watched some good/funny videos of guys flying down the mountain around 80 and rolling it over the guard rail. oops... not our guy... just some guy...

found out some of our trailers really really don't like 93% sulphuric acid in them even if dispatch has them loaded that way. and the customer doesn't like it either when you pump sulphuric plus half your trailer into their processing tanks.

was the best meeting I've ever had/attended

learned some real good safety tips, 100% painless, finally got to see some guys instead of their cars in the lot.

hosted by tim and yeah.... rick was there... *pop* *ping* "wazzup???"

that guy must be putting in the same miles I am... lol

ohhh and after we got handed some very cool blankies. long red furry things... with questliner and a picture of our trucks and tankers carved into the fluff to keep us warm in the winter...

pffft.... my daughter stole mine before I even got it unwrapped...:biggrin_25511:

    good meeting...

ya'know how I keep saying, good old bob...

bob takes care of me blah blah blah.... ?

I had some personal issues last week and then i screwed the poochie big-time, and then on top of that I had a miscommunication about days off... "work me this week I really need next weekend off."

Wound up I only worked three days / THE ONES I WANTED OFF and had the days I wanted off scheduled to work...

Stuff happens... but usually you are still screwed/nailed to the wall and the one that does the suffering when these things pop up unexpectedly.

well, bob knew what had happened after it was to late to undue the damages and he apologized for the miscommunication and said don't worry I'm on it and I'll do the best I can for you...

    good old bob !!!!

two 34 hour restarts in one week - almost four full days off - 1217 miles - $857.80 - 70.4 cents per mile to me :biggrin_25519::biggrin_25519: yeah!!! 70.4cpm !!!!

now ya'll can talk about me, you can talk about my momma....

but don't ever be cursing bob in front of me !!! lol

    good old bob...

By the way Sixfoot I just signed the paper confirming that you were the lying SOB that scammed me into coming here so a few bucks should be appearing on your check in the next week or two.
