I ran two years super b grain with 40,000 lbs rears, then the bearings gave out in the front diff. But we sit on some pretty soft ground at times. If you're on pavement it maybe okay. My rears always ran pretty hot, especially mountain climbing.
Since then my last two trucks I got 46,000 lbs rears, they seem to run a lot cooler.

Yup it was my truck, $5,200 bill on that job.
The truck I had at that time was spec'd for U.S. Weights, then I moved and changed companies to regional haul where I could get home on weekends. Like nate980 said, you make do.Prairie Boy and nate980 Thank this.
