No they will not hire you.
They may open a business relationship with you though. Here are their requirements How to become an Owner Operator with Landstar
You might wanna call them as equipment violations is not specifically list. Of course look at some of the Landstar tractors. They likely don't care. :)

    BigTennOTR Thanks this.

How many moving violations, accidents, PSP points and how is your MVR? What do you mean by failing a DOT inspection? Getting caught with a burnt out marker light and a small overweight ticket shouldnt be a big issue anywhere.

Getting a out of service ticket is bad for you it's points on your CVSA score. We're you put out of service at the scale. Had to fix before leaving.

That's what's wrong with trucking today. I thought drivers didnt have a CSA score that carriers can see. Psp is just a reflection of what happened at that moment the op could be safe but just had a mechanical failure he/she wasn't aware of and got wrote up for it. I'm telling you I seen a fresh driver with a fifth wheel so rusty is so wonder he didn't jack knife. Lack of training, intimidation, and greed. Poor owner operators out here...
Landstar ok but it's not a cake walk " it's what you make it"

Companies have access to such information for sure. I get am email quarterly with all my inspection info, including CSA/PSP. Fortunately and currently i have no points against me. But one inspection could easily blow that up. That info i get is even broken down as to what state i got the points in, if i had any. And i also get a combined report about how the fleet as a whole is doing. Of course, they dont tell us what any other driver has. Just totals.
