Thanks Morris - I just had to ask. I think I might go with Roehl after I get my CDL with Sage -LCTI in Schnecksville, PA. They seem to be a good way to go for newbies. I've never even driven a manual transmission, but a career change is long overdue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tried to apply, but their overly complicated (how many times do they have to ask the same question at the start ?) online application crashed on me halfway through.

Perhaps after I cool off I'll try again, but hate that.

Who is your Dispatcher MorrisGray. I am out of Knoxville and mine is Heather and she sucks! I can't get home, I can't get mileage. I put in for time off and she sent me the other direction and said she didn't care. This company has know idea that the rivers are what make them the money. I have been driveing for 21 years. I have never seen any place so half ##*. ANd a company who lets a Dispatcher be married to the Safety Manager....what's with that? I want to change dispatchers but I don't know it would get any better?

Heather is also my dispatcher. Not to say I haven't had some bad times with her myself. I didn't get home any weekend at all in July. Not driving just sitting in Texas or NJ. I have sevral conversations that were not very pleasant or rewarding. She has gone to Jerry the terminal manager about me before. I would suggest this for you to make it as easy as possible. Send her a message on the Qcom stating what you are looking for. Ask her if there is a problem with your request. Is so why and if not give her two or three weeks more. If things are not any better ask for a change of dispatchers. With your experience you may want to check out McGriff or however it is spelled. My friend that was with USF quit and went there and he loves it. Insurance is much higher though! Where do you live? PM me for more.:biggrin_25511:

This company might be good since I don't see many reports against them. Maybe they are too busy making money to write in.
