Mine is $ .40 per mile.......$ .34 + .06 per deim. he mileage has been horrible here from the Southeast. I have talked to two drivers just this morning who are seeing the same as me. I am out running today (saturday) USF Glen Moore Team drivers out of KC just went union. I don't get weekends off, only once in a great while. Home mostly during the week. They hired me saying 5 out two home, then when I complained because I wasn't getting it or the miles they promised 2375. They told me the old handbook they handed out said 6 out / 1 home, tough Sh**. Jerry the terminal manager in Knoxvile is an ##* and my dispatcher sucks, says she has only been dispatching 5 months. I have 21 years expreince, I came here only because Jevic went under and I needed a job, I have 2 small kids and other on the way. I wish Jevic would have been able to keep going. I loved working for them and made great money and great benefits. That Jevic job was my life, I was there a long time, this company sucks, can't even get you home for a doctors appointment. Look somewhere else if you can, I am going to be leaving as soon as I can. I wouldn't tell anybody to come here, not even for the referal money. I couldn't do that to anybody.

As for Home time on the weekends on regional lanes, that is crap. Operations manager up in Carlisle flat out told me if that happens and you get home on the weekend your lucky. I have been home on a weekend once in the last 5 months. It sucks..I have little kids and I see them only a few hours when they home from school. They don't pay trailer moves, I have never gotten it. And they don't pay any hourly. Stops are paid $30.00 a stop. And if you are 5 minutes late they write you up as a service failure and then you won't get any work for that day...that is what my dispatcher said to me. And that is no matter what reason. One time when I was home my daughter's school called and she had a 104 fever and my wife was at her doctors appointment, so I had to go get my daughter and get her to doctor and I was 15 minutes late picking up my load and the terminal manager told "I am sorry your daughter is sick but our frieght is more important and I should have found someone else to get her to the doctor, and get out frienght there on time" I was written up for a service failure and to top it off it was a drop and hook that they had 4 trailers ahead of me. I didn't get a load for 2 days, and my dispatcher said it was my punishment. The only reason I am staying is because like I have said before, my wife is pregnant, and the insurance is good. Plus with this economy, it is going to be hard to find a good trucking job like I had with Jevic. I have been driving 21 years and have never seen a company that thinks the drivers are crap.

Who is your DM and were are you baised out of cause that is crap or flat out BS my wife had cancer 2 years ago and when she was sick they got me home quick. I have been late never got writen up. When I did regonal I never had a prb getting home on the weekends. As for hourly and lay over and stuff you should be getting paid I have talked to drivers who have been told we don't get paid but you need to find out who is their superviser. Cause this should not be happing. The stuff I wrote is what I get and also have gotton.....

My starting pay was only .29/mile with Zero years experience in last five years. Just got a peeny raise after six months employed. I get home most evry weekend although not a single weekend in July. .23 or now .24 mile is my pay plus .06 per diem, totaled to make .29 or .30/mile. The per diem really cuts back on the taxable income so you bring home more of your actual pay. I do believe now they will not hire you without one year prior experience. Individual experiences differ greatly. I believe the more you make per mile, the less miles you get. Just my opinion. I still am getting 2200miles plus up to 2800miles per week. I tend to believe that all trucking companies may be almost equal with personal experience. To some people all are good, to others none are good to them or for them. Try one and if you don't like it just quit and try another, but I would suggest trying to stick it out for at least six months before changing companies. JM2C

I am out of Knoxville. My Dm is Heather. I have been sitting the last two days here in NJ. Jerry the terminal manager, is an ##*. They are horrible, Ihave put in to be home for two doctors appointments for myself and she didn't bother to get me home and when I complained, she said "There isn't a magical load that will just get you home". Did you know that the DM Wendy is married to the safety manager here in Knoxville? I talked to two other Glen Moore drivers that have been sitting here and they are regional out of SOutheast and they haven't bee home in 12 days and the one only has 1200 miles for the last two weeks. It is a joke. Last time I was Texas a week ago, and sat for three days I asked for my layover pay and she told me they weren't paying it because it was an act of god, she said the hurricane was causing the problem. More like her being stupid was the problem.
I have to stay because of the insurance, my wife is scared that she will have the baby alone, because Heather has already told me she doesn't have to get me home or keep me close. I am southeast regional driver and here I sit in NJ. Any suggestions of who you think I should call? Carlisle doesn't seem much better.

I do know that something have changed I don't know the details and why. But if you and other drivers are stuck in N.J. and they haven't even got you something to Carlisle were you should be able to get stuff back south. I know Art used to be the one drivers talk to he used to be the superviser in Carlisle Dispatch. I don't think he does it any more. If you have the doctors appt and your wife is pregiant (Congrats on the kid) then I would just call and scream at everone their. I know about a month ago I got stuck in Amerillo Tx for a week, and got paid for everyday I sat. As for the act of God crap that's bull cause I got stuck in Ar. a a shipper for a day and a half cause a torando went thur. I have heard alot of drivers complane about the stuff outta Knoxville. I will check to see who you can call and try to get back to you. In the mean time just call and talk to as many people as you can. Really I do hope things get better.

USF Glen Moore was on my short list for a while. I just live down the road from the Knoxville Terminal. About 1/2 way between the 117 and 112. Not too far from me. After reading this, I decided against it.

First off I don't want to get my Haz-Mat to drive. I know I'll probably get it someday, but not now. I just don't feel like messing with it.

Second is I don't want to sit in NJ all day waiting on a load. I'd prefer to stay out of NJ if at all possible.

Instead, I'm heading to Heartland. Terminal isn't too far away (Kingsport), and they pay better per mile that USF GM does. I also like their Kingsport, TN regional better than what I've heard the GM routes are. Shouldn't be getting in NJ at all, and maybe a very little upstate NY, but mostly no farther north than PA and MD.

Thats where I'm going. I'm not starting my orientation until the 8th of Dec, so I won't be driving for a while. If you see a Heartland truck at the Pilot on 117, its probably me home for a little weekend.

The last time I called and complain to Heather and that Jerry the terminal manager, I was hauled into Knoxville and given a Coaching Letter for complaining. That would be great if you find anything out about who to complaint o. My wife is really stressed out about, the really good possibility of me not getting home for her. She really doesn't need this crap, it is our 3rd kid, but she is 40 and so far into this pregnancy it has been hard enough let alone all this stress. We don't have any family down here in Georgia, they all back in Chicago so, she is really alone. We have been married 20 years, and all of it I have been driving and she has put up with a lot of me not getting home when I should have. SHe keep putting off kids because she wanted me around more, then I went to work with Jevic and it was good, really really good. When my wife was 7 months pregnant with our last Jevic kept no further from home then 300 miles, then the last 3 weeks they run me locally hourly. When she went into labor, I was delivering a 10 stop load around Atlanta, I called them and they said take it to the yard and get to the hospital. I got there the same time she was. Why do all the good companies go under? Any names you can give would be great, I am really worried, the mileage and pay has been crap and then not getting home, I am worried she will loss the baby.

    Thanks
