most common is flatbed/stepdeck. RGN(removable goose neck) and heavy haul falls under what is refereed to as open deck as well for the most part.

No they do vans too, but the bigger money is in open deck and OD stuff.

Um......i don't want to sound mean, BUT, exactly how green are you? You're becoming an O/O and you don't know what "open deck" means or the different kinds of freight LS offer?

If you really want to pull a flat, don't bother learning tanker, work for a flatbed company.

Please, please, please..... PLEASE don't say you're going to do some sort of lease purchase plan.

    Mooseontheloose and SL3406 Thank this.

Instead of being a smart ### why do you try and teach somebody? No i don't know everything about trucking but i know enough to drive my rig and maintain a safe operation. I know a little more than the basics. And no i have my own truck, i was smart enough not to do a lease. How would i know anything about flatbed if i never pulled one?? All I've done is van and tanker. I know LS does van and flatbed. I've been researching both companies, i obviously misunderstood the question ChicagoJohn. You ppl are just rude for no reason.

I'm gonna say this and then I'm done with this thread. Being a woman in this MAN'S industry is hard enough not mention the actual driving, mechanics and economic part. When i post something asking for a little advice its real ######## to get smart ### replies and dickheads cheering it on. I guess i had high expectations.
