Uh old trailers they don't own anymore... take the decals and markings off before they sell themTexas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

these arent old ones that i see, they still have the decals/markings just with the phone number blacked out

Likely got tired of all the phone calls from 4 wheelers. You know because they had to tap their brakes to get behind the truck to get on the expressway.
You know because the trucker should have slammed his brakes to let the 4 wheeler in front.
Or some othe b.s. like that.Toomanybikes, mindes, Dave_in_AZ and 3 others Thank this. -
If they're painting over the trailer number as well, it isn't a SNI trailer anymore. There are alot of companies that buy those trailers and don't take the decals of the back. There was a story about why the phone number was painted over. The vast majority of the calls were bogus calls. Alot were people disgruntled over being stuck behind a 60 mph truck.

JB Hunt had that problem for a few years; drivers painting over the phone number.
Are they Schneider trucks pulling the trailers? If so, it's probably the drivers covering the numbers.DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
Yeah, probably. Or they genuinely suck at driving and nobody was hired to deal with it. Or somebody was hired, fielded 350 phone calls 5 hours into his 8hr shift then quit - repeat process. Don't really know.
I change all the 3's to 8's on my 'How's My Driving' stickers. Just in case I have a ####ty day. Lol.DoneYourWay, G13Tomcat and Shock Therapy Thank this. -
Your action was crazy, LOL-AZO hahaha

I just put a piece of duct tape over it or spray paint it. If they take the duct tape off, I'll just put another piece on it if I get that trailer again. "No, I didn't do it; it was on there when I got the trailer." The two companies I did that with, always believed whoever called in and never the driver.Last edited: May 19, 2017
DoneYourWay and KillingTime Thank this. -
Someone out there spray painted it. Or it's a trailer that's been sold. I rarely keep trailers for more than a day, some days I go through 5-6 different ones, so w/e. Some of schneider drivers are that bad. Some aren't. Most are somewhere in between. Same as everywhere else
