I have a road test and physical with walmart next month. Can anyone tell me if the trucks are automatic or not. Also, if they are standard, are we allowed to float the gears during road test or do we have to double clutch?
Do we provide personal references?

fill out app like it says. dont lie at all. 10 speed manual is what i tested on. most testers give 30 min to pretrip, hook trk and trl road ready. drive like u normally do. pretrip first then if you pass then road test then if you pass dot physical then if you pass background then if you pass vetting then if you pass ur offered the job. then you wait till they call u to start. process takes a while.

You grind the gear one single time even for a short moment you're not getting hired.

 

That sucks if they are looking for reasons to fire people. I'm really not so sure that makes things safer. One Walmart driver ran me out of my lane a few years ago. He would have hit me had I not run off onto the shoulder. But this was a long time ago.

Anyway, as far as them not knowing your name and view you as a number. I could care less. They can call me Br549, as long as they pay well..lol

I was told nine drivers tried to test out of Sutherland VA this week. There were zero out of nine made it.
