You used the key word "dedicated" driver and fdd &m&p. As far as I know all private fleet payscale was same RDC or HVDC. I know St and LU pay adds up to more on grocery rather than Ad and hk on gm.

Sorry for the confusion "Dedicated" is the language the ROC used for anybody with a gate time of 1400 or later at our DC.Ive never hauled GM but will be transferring back home soon so i was trying to figure out difference in pay if any. Thanks

It all balances out in the end. GM makes the same if not more than grocery because you're always moving instead of waiting to be unloaded, hence the live load/unload pay is a bit more than hook pay. You'll still do some grocery, at least in my area (they use us all over the region) but mostly GM, and we do quite well. You'll love GM...you simply stick the bills in the trailer door handle, drop in the dock, hook your empty and you're back on the road in five minutes.

It all equals out because you can do more activity with GM rather than waiting to be unloaded on multiple grocery stops. Pottsville was losing drivers like crazy so they now give their drivers +5% of their trip sheet no matter where they run out of, as an incentive to stay. GM is definitely where a driver will make the most.

It's a balance of both, and depends on your region, traffic, etc. I ran a long run lots of miles no activity other than AD, HK, AD/ET, 547 miles @.47/mile doesn't equal as much as 448 mile day with 2 grocery loads and 11 paid activities.
