3406e fuel problem

I have a 3406e cat. I have replaced both filters and also replaced the check value. Once the engine is primed it will run all day. Once I turn it off and let it set for 45 min. to an hour it will crank back up. It will run for about five minutes. Acts like it's running out of fuel. I have to prime the system back up for it to run. It will run all day. But like I said once I turn it off and let it set I have to reprime the system. I have also replaced the injector orings. Motor has just been inframed.

 

did you replace the filters with the same part numbers you had before it started doing this?

 

many times you go to a shop for an oil and filter change and they install the new filters with the O'ring that is not needed in the secondary or sometimes it needs it on the primary and they don't install it or vise versa. it happened to me once and it almost drove me crazy till I change the filters again and found out an O'ring where it wasn't needed.
