Hey gang, long time stalker first time poster. This uber launch forced me to leave the shadows ;) . I just heard on the news this morning that uber was making a freight app? I signed up with my MC number and am awaiting approval...anyone seen loads on there? Does it work well? Are the prices competitive? Anyone actually gotten paid yet? Seems like this might be the future, and I wanted to see if they were paying us well.

Let me know your reviews / what you've seen!

Well, if it's like all of Ubers other ventures it will be borderline to flat out illegal. Even if it is legal (all the correct bonds, insurance, authority, etc.) it will likely be very low pay.
Doesn't hurt to check it out as long as the cost is just a little time.

Anyone seen any prices? Anyone actually signed up yet? I read on one forum that the prices were either really high or really low.

There won't be a significant difference I'd bet. Other than Uber will do like they did to taxicabs, and screw it all up for no good reason. The Uber drivers seldom make what Uber says they will, Uber passengers seldom get the service their dollar deserves, and cab drivers in Uber markets are generally just shafted. Uber tends to get the bulk of the money. It'll be the same with Uber freight.

Lets all take a field trip to uber freight website. https://freight.uber.com/ Look at the homepage and watch the video pause the video at :19 seconds. The example that they use is about 926 mile drive and it only pays $1600???

Nothing! Just another dog and pony show to turn Uber Freight into the next Billion Dollar Freight Brokerage Company if drivers entertain them with their truck and trailer.

is that live now? When I worked for them it was only for their drivers not opened to the public. But I was thinking the same thing except freight Rover has some play with the rates and pick up times if you call the DM. From what I read with Uber it's their rate or nothing.
